Nature conservation in the Red Sea
We love the Red Sea. Help us protect it!
The Red Sea is a narrow marginal sea of the Indian Ocean with an impressive length of 2,440 km. Its average depth is 538 meters, while its maximum depth reaches 3,040 meters. Due to its unique geological features, a remarkable marine and marine ecosystem has developed here.
The reefs and wildlife of the Red Sea are unique and beautiful. It is of utmost importance that we preserve these natural treasures.
Help us preserve this unique natural paradise by following a few important rules:
Behavior in water:
- Always keep a safe distance from the reef. Touching or breaking off coral is prohibited.
- Walking on the reef top is strictly prohibited.
- Do not feed marine animals.
- Do not touch any living creatures underwater; some are poisonous, others have very sensitive skin.
- It is forbidden to take anything from the sea. Even taking pieces of shell or coral washed up on the beach is not allowed.
Behavior on land:
- Hunting animals is prohibited – nature conservation is also animal protection.
- Do not touch or damage any plants. The few plants in the desert are reserved for the Bedouin, as they need them for their traditional way of life.
- Make sure not to leave any trash in nature.
Please note that some violations of these rules may be subject to severe penalties.
Together we can ensure that the Red Sea and its unique environment are preserved for future generations.
Thank you for your support!
